Consults

See the Bigger Picture. Connect the Dots. Understand More Clearly.

When you’re supporting a child or yourself with developmental, sensory, behavioral, or nervous system challenges, it can feel overwhelming trying to understand how everything fits together.

You may find yourself asking:

“Could these things be connected?”

“Where do I even start?”

“Why does my child struggle with this when other things seem to be going well?”

A 1:1 Consult is designed to help you step back, look at the bigger picture, and better understand the patterns that may be influencing the nervous system.

Rather than focusing on isolated symptoms, I look at the connections between systems—such as birth history, nervous system regulation, sensory processing, posture, movement, airway, development, and emotional patterns.

My goal is to help you gain clarity, context, and confidence as you decide what areas may be worth exploring further.

What Is a Consult?

A Consult is an educational review designed for those who want a deeper understanding of their or their child’s unique patterns.

Using a whole-body, nervous system-informed lens, I review the information you provide and help identify possible connections across areas such as:

• Pregnancy and birth history

• Early development

• Sensory processing

• Nervous system regulation

• Primitive reflex patterns

• Posture and movement

• Oral function, airway, and dental considerations

• Emotional patterns and stress responses

• Environmental and lifestyle factors

This is not about placing blame or finding something “wrong.”

The nervous system is constantly adapting to its experiences.

The goal is to better understand those adaptations and explore what supportive next steps may be worth considering.

Who Are These Consults For?

These consults are ideal for those who:

• Feel overwhelmed by conflicting information

• Have tried multiple supports but still feel like something is missing

• Sense that different systems are connected but don’t know how

• Prefer a wholistic perspective rather than focusing only on one symptom or diagnosis

• Want help organizing information and prioritizing next steps

• Want education before pursuing additional services or therapies

Consults are available for both children and adults.

My Approach

My background as a Registered Nurse, combined with years of research and training in areas such as neurodevelopment, nervous system regulation, movement, posture, fascia, birth experiences, and energetic approaches, allows me to view development through a wide lens.

I look for patterns and relationships—not isolated problems.

During a consult, you’ll hear things like:

“Here are the connections I notice.”

“This pattern may be worth exploring further.”

“These systems often influence one another.”

“Here are some possible areas to consider.”

My role is not to tell you exactly what to do.

My role is to provide education, perspective, and clarity so you can make informed decisions that align with your family.

What Is Included in the Initial Consult?

Step 1: Intake Forms

After booking, you’ll receive intake forms where you can share information about:

• Pregnancy and birth history

• Developmental milestones

• Current concerns

• Sensory experiences

• Nervous system patterns

• Posture and movement history

• Airway and dental history

• Previous therapies or supports

• Your current goals and questions

You may also choose to provide optional photos or short videos to help observe posture and movement patterns.

Step 2: Personalized Review

Once I receive your completed forms, I carefully review the information and look for patterns, connections, and areas that may provide additional insight.

Within two weeks of receiving your completed intake forms, you will receive a personalized written summary.

Your summary may include:

✔ Patterns I notice

✔ Why those patterns may be relevant

✔ Educational information to help you understand what you’re seeing

✔ Supportive avenues or areas you may wish to explore further

You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of how different systems may be interacting and ideas for supportive next steps.

Frequently Asked Questions

What this Consult is (and isn’t)

This consult is:

✔ Educational

✔ Informational

✔ A way to organize information and recognize patterns

✔ A tool to help parents feel more informed and empowered

This consult is not:

✘ A medical evaluation

✘ A diagnosis

✘ A treatment plan

✘ A replacement for medical, therapeutic, or professional care

These consults are designed to complement—not replace—the support you receive from qualified professionals.

How is this different from working with a practitioner?

Many practitioners specialize in one specific area or modality.

A Consult is different because it focuses on integration—looking at how multiple systems may interact and helping you understand the bigger picture.

Think of this as a roadmap.

Rather than adding another therapy without understanding why, this consult helps you better understand what patterns may be present and what questions may be worth asking next.

Will you tell me exactly what to do?

No.

My role is to share observations, education, and possible areas to explore.

You remain the decision-maker for your child and choose what feels appropriate for your family.

Can adults book a consult?

Yes.

While much of my work has focused on children and development, many of the same concepts—nervous system regulation, movement patterns, emotional experiences, and early imprints—can continue into adulthood.

How long does the initial consult process take?

The review period begins once I receive your completed intake forms.

You will receive your written summary within two weeks, followed by the option to schedule your 30-minute discussion call.
